How You Can Help

 

Before Fr. Jean returned to the Democratic Republic of the Congo in 2018, many benefactors coordinated efforts with MedShare to supply some of the medical equipment needed for the clinic in Yassa. However, The Friends of the Congo asks that you will prayerfully consider offering help to it's mission so that the chains of poverty will no longer be allowed to continue to victimize the women in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. In order to accomplish the work of the Holy Spirit, we are in need of monetary donations for the following:

 

• General building fund

• Solar-Powered Well and septic system

• Internet needed for telemedicine purposes ($2.5K) with recurring monthly fee of $350/month: The clinic location is very remote, therefore, contact with other doctors and medical information in the outside world would be greatly helpful to properly diagnose and treat all the women in need.

• Furniture - 4 beds ($450 per bed), chairs, etc.

• 1 Delivery Table ($800 per table)

• Lightning suppression system ($5K)

• And much more...

 

Any contribution you can make will greatly alleviate the conditions of the women in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Friends of the Congo, Inc. is organized and operated exclusively for charitable purposes in accordance with Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions would be deductible for income tax purposes.
